PIKO: A Gathering of Indigenous Visual Artists
HPA, Waimea, Hawaii

In the summer of 2007, Abigail was asked by the Hanapi Foundation to participate in PIKO: A Gathering of Idigenous Visual Artist from across the Pacific. 160 indigenous visual artists gathered for 10 days at the HPA campus in Waimea, Hawai'i. These artists had the opportunity to work in various art mediums such as glass, sculpture, painting, photography, fiber arts, ceramics, painting, and printmaking. Abigail was in charge of organizing the printmaking materials and assisting those artists who needed her guidance with printmaking.
